Tony Glickman joins RiskSpan as Chief Risk Strategist

NEW YORK, Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To support the growth of its Risk Services business line, RiskSpan http://www.riskspan.com announced the appointment of Anthony (Tony) Glickman as Chief Risk Strategist. RiskSpan provides risk advisory, managed analytics and technology solutions.  The company is known for its breadth of senior risk management expertise at the executive level and Tony is no exception.   With decades of expertise in Portfolio Management, Trading and Investment Risk Advisory, Tony will lead RiskSpan's continued growth in providing risk analytics and risk advisory to asset managers, hedge funds and global investors.  In naming Tony to this critical role, RiskSpan successfully added an accomplished industry leader who has the detailed knowledge and unsurpassed experience to lead this business.  

Tony Glickman has enjoyed a broad and diverse career in the financial markets since leaving academia over three decades ago.  Prior to RiskSpan, Tony was with Northern Trust as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Client Solutions for their Corporate & Institutional Services business. In his role, Tony advised some of the firm's largest asset owners about risk and return, asset/liability management, and investment strategy. He led a new risk analytics offering for Northern Trust's hedge fund and other sophisticated asset manager clients. At RiskSpan, Tony remains a Senior Advisor to Northern Trust.

During his years at GlobeOp, he built out its risk business, established Investor Analytics and Portfolio Analytics, two additional businesses, and launched the GlobeOp family of hedge fund indices.
