Top-Flite becomes the official golf ball of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship
PITTSBURGH, April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Top-Flite® announced today an exclusive partnership with the Long Drivers of America (LDA) and becomes the official ball of the RE/MAX WORLD Long Drive Championship.

Founded in 1995, LDA is best known for staging the annual RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship, the premier event in power golf. Players that compete in the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship open division routinely drive the ball 400+ yards and generate up to 220 mph of ball speed. The 2013 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship will be staged for initial qualifying rounds at the Mesquite sports and event complex in Mesquite, NV with the final 8 of the open division battling it out for the $250,000 first prize at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
LDA and the RE/MAX WLDC will begin a new partnership with NBC/Golf Channel in 2013, totaling 26 hours of airtime on Golf Channel affiliates worldwide. October becomes Long Drive Month on the Golf Channel, culminating in a live two-hour finale from Las Vegas on Golf Channel on October 30th. The event will be elevated and will have increased viewer interest when it makes its network television debut on NBC in 4th quarter.
