Toronto Blogger Zach Bussey Faces Edmonton's Sheri Landry for World's Largest Blogging Contract

The BiLLe announces finalists for the first in a series of worldwide social media competitions, each with a €100,000.00 (CDN $123,000.00) prize

Having risen to the top from a group of nine talented bloggers from across the nation, Zach Bussey of Toronto and Sheri Landry of Edmonton say they are thrilled to be in the final round. Landry writes, "I am extremely excited to be moving on and am looking forward to talking to the judging panel." Facing four judges from The BiLLe this week, each finalist will answer questions and present a case for why he or she should become the lotto's first blogging ambassador.

The winning blogger will receive €100,000.00, paid in 12 monthly installments. Bloggers entered by submitting a video describing what they would do with one billion Euros and advanced based on results for each task. Tasks included a written post and a video interview with the charity of their choice. The winner will be announced next week.

Future editions of the contest will be held in other eligible countries, determined by the number of interested local bloggers and jurisdictional regulations, says Ms. Dewar. "We're now active in 85 countries, so it will be exciting to see who is next."
