Torrance Marriott South Bay Inspires Art Lovers To Bid On Unique Painting To Benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles

TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Blending the love of art and philanthropy, the Torrance Marriott South Bay is proud to announce an upcoming silent auction facilitated by OMG GLOBAL, LLC that will benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
An extension of the current art exhibit the Torrance, CA, hotel kicked off this September, the silent auction will continue the cultural experience for locals and visitors with the Nov. 1, 2014, unveiling of an original acrylic painting by OMG GLOBAL, LLC's featured artist Sandra Enteman Chu. Titled "Man in the Sun," the vibrant piece features bold strokes and captivating colors inspired by Southern California's mesmerizing sunsets. Chu's painting will be on display in the main lobby of the Torrance Marriott for all visitors and guests to enjoy until the silent auction comes to a close at noon on Nov. 9, 2014.
In addition to an exciting opportunity to acquire a piece of one-of-a-kind art, the silent auction will serve as a resource to the surrounding community, as all proceeds will benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles. A premier research hospital for pediatric care, the nonprofit organization depends on donations to help heal children in an environment that allows them to thrive.
While the silent auction will only last nine days, the art exhibit, facilitated by OMG GLOBAL, LLC, will stay open in the Torrance meeting space through Dec. 4, 2014. Presenting Chu's contemporary original paintings that are also for sale, 20 percent of proceeds benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
