Toshiba TEC Corporation Partners with Memjet to Bring Multi-Function Peripheral Solutions to the Office Market

DUSSELDORF, Germany, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Memjet, the global leader in color printing technologies that provide remarkable speeds and affordability, today announced a partnership with Toshiba TEC Corporation for the development of multi-function office products featuring Memjet components.

Under the partnership, Toshiba TEC Corporation will initially work to integrate Memjet components into a Multi-Function Peripheral (MFP) product targeted for the office market. The MFP will feature a scanner, photocopier and color printer that produces high-quality color pages at 60 pages per minute, thanks to Memjet's revolutionary page-wide printhead, controller chip, software and ink. A future MFP product co-developed by both companies is being exhibited at drupa, the world's largest print industry event in Dusseldorf, Germany, in the Memjet booth, Hall 5, E28.

Toshiba TEC is evaluating Memjet technology for manufacturing, logistics and retail environments that require high-speed printing.  Toshiba TEC provides point-of-sale solutions, industrial and portable labels printers, self-service solutions, and digital signage solutions.
