Total Licensing, Inc. Announces the Appointment of Walter Sims as Interim Executive Vice President of Operations for Glamm Industries
Former President of Swatch USA to Lead Company's Operations
NEW YORK, Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Licensing, Inc. ("TLI") and Glamm Industries, LLC ("Glamm") announced today that Glamm has appointed Walter Sims, former president of Swatch USA, as interim Executive Vice President of Operations. TLI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Total Apparel Group, Inc. ("TAG") (OTC Pink: TLAG), recently partnered with Glamm to develop and market timepieces for SKECHERS USA, Inc. ("SKECHERS") (NYSE: SKX).
In his new position, Sims will lead Glamm's operations as the company prepares to launch the new collection of SKECHERS Time Instruments in late 2011. He will also be responsible for logistics management, facilitating and coordinating production activities, implementing inventory management controls, order processing systems, negotiating vendor and customer terms, and other back office functions.
Sims brings over 25 years of experience in the watch and accessories industry to Glamm, which is the exclusive U.S. licensee of watches and timepieces for SKECHERS, a global leader in the footwear industry. Prior to Glamm, Sims was president of Swatch USA. Throughout his career Sims has held management positions at major global companies including Estee Lauder, Revlon and Polaroid. He also brings expertise in management, consulting and launching brands in the watch and accessories sector.
