Bionic technology pioneer demonstrates significant technical and commercial expansion at the world's biggest prosthetics gathering

LEIPZIG, Germany, May 13 /PRNewswire/ - Touch Bionics (www.touchbionics.com), developer of advanced upper-limb bionic technologies, yesterday began a four-day exhibition at the combined International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) World Congress and ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK tradeshow in Leipzig, Germany. Users of Touch Bionics' products, including a bionic hand-wearing DJ and a ProDigits user who lost his fingers while serving in Afghanistan are among the highlights for event attendees.
Three years ago, Touch Bionics first made its appearance at the ISPO World Congress in Vancouver following the launch of its first groundbreaking product, the i-LIMB Hand.

solutions will be on display and visitors to the company's stand can

- Touch Light: Touch Bionics has developed a groundbreaking new
distance colour matching system that captures accurate skin tone,
features and shape, in a single calibrated and light-controlled
desktop device.
- Workshops and sessions: Touch Bionics' experts are presenting a
range of educational sessions at both events in Leipzig, including
tracks focused on partial hand prosthesis development, collaborative
development practices, occupational therapy and the new i-LIMB Pulse.
