Toxikon Corporation Hosts Extractables and Leachables Spring Seminar
BEDFORD, Mass., March 10 /PRNewswire/ --Toxikon Corporation, a preclinical contract testing lab, invites quality assurance, research and development and regulatory professionals to Bedford, Massachusetts April 20 for an international symposium on extractables and leachables testing.
The increased use of disposable components in both manufacturing and packaging materials brings extractables and leachables to the forefront of required testing set forth by governing bodies. As such, Toxikon has seen a surge in demand for this type of testing to qualify the integrity of everything from single use systems to container closures, said Program Coordinator John Iannone.
The seminar will provide tips on how to design an extractables and leachables study and reveal winning strategies for quality control, risk assessment and material selection.
Speakers include Dr. Stephen Doherty, Study Director for Chemistry; Dr. Piet Christiaens, Scientific Director for Chemistry at Toxikon Europe N.V. and Dr. Christopher Brynczka, Study Director for In Vivo Services. An interactive workshop will follow the presentations.
The full day conference is $249 per person and includes the cost of breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to 40 people.
