TRACE Names Intel Winner Of 2016 Innovation in Anti-Bribery Compliance Award For The Development Of Trailblazing Ethics & Compliance Training
WASHINGTON, March 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, TRACE International, the leading global anti-bribery standard setting organization, named Intel the winner of the 2016 TRACE Innovation in Anti-Bribery Compliance Award (IACA) for the development of path-breaking educational methods. The award was announced at the 12th Annual TRACE Forum attended by over 120 compliance leaders from multinational companies. The IACA recognizes creative, far-reaching efforts by multinational companies to develop leading anti-bribery practices that advance transparency in business.
Intel's anti-corruption communication campaign, planned around International Anti-Corruption Day, engaged an employee population of approximately 110,000 with a multi-day campaign designed to empower employees to take a leadership role in the conversation about bribery and compliance. The program leveraged journalism, social media, employee-generated content, gaming and peer-group participation for immediate feedback and to socialize learning.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to share this innovative campaign with the wider compliance community," said Alexandra Wrage, President of TRACE. "The program is pioneering in its approach, reach, measurability and immediate impact."
"At Intel, innovation is core to everything we do; our Ethics & Legal Compliance team strives to inspire our employees through cutting-edge educational programs," said Jo Levy, Chief Compliance Officer at Intel. "We are honored by TRACE's recognition of our International Anti-Corruption Day campaign, which leveraged innovative technology to raise awareness about the impact of corruption, and empower our people to lead conversations about Intel's values."
TRACE received a record number of nominations for the IACA this year, highlighting the growing sophistication, innovation and ambitious reach of compliance programs worldwide.
