Tradebe Donates $25,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana to Support Teen Leadership Programs

EAST CHICAGO, Ind., June 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Tradebe, a leading environmental services company, has announced it has engaged in a Champion-level corporate partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana (BGCGNWI) with a $25,000 contribution. The donation will support the relaunch and expansion of teen leadership programming at the East Chicago Club by funding a part-time staff position, program development, and training, as well as provide scholarship support for local teens to participate in the 2025 Teen Summit.

This investment will bring to life a new chapter of the Club's "Total Teen Takeover" initiative, helping over 50 East Chicago teens engage in small-group, peer-driven leadership and service learning. The program is designed to increase participation among middle and high school students while developing self-leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility.

These roles involve facilitating regularly scheduled leadership sessions and community service projects designed to help teens explore career paths, build communication skills, and foster volunteerism and civic engagement. A significant highlight of this partnership is the annual Teen Summit, a four-day career exploration series held in July, which features engaging surprises and concludes with a celebratory barbeque.
