Trail of Lights Utilizing Austin-based Ticketing Company Ticketbud To Sell Tickets Online

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ticketbud, an Austin-based event registration and ticketing company, has announced that it will be handling the online ticketing for the annual holiday favorite, the Austin Trail of Lights. Founded in 1965, the Trail of Lights is an Austin tradition produced by the nonprofit organization, the Trail of Lights Foundation. The annual tradition features more than 2 million lights, interactive displays, and local entertainment. Frequently requiring more than 1,000 volunteers to handle the 400,000 plus attendees every year, the Trail of Lights required a ticketing system able to handle a large amount of visitors.
