Transzap, Inc. Named to 2011 Deloitte Technology Fast 500
SaaS solution provider ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in North America for second year in a row
DENVER and HOUSTON, Oct. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Transzap, Inc., the parent company of Oildex, the energy industry's leading provider of ePayables, eRevenue, and eStatement software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, today announced its inclusion in the prestigious 2011 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, Deloitte's ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and clean technology companies in North America. This is the second consecutive year Transzap has received this honor.
Rankings were based on fiscal year revenue growth during the period between 2006 and 2010. Transzap's revenue grew by 137 percent during this time.
To achieve such extraordinary growth during tough economic times, Transzap employed three key strategies. It increased its user base by 1,640 percent, launched new services in each of its product lines, and expanded its capacity so that it now processes more than $130 billion in transaction detail each year.
"Transzap is honored to be recognized by Deloitte for the second year in a row," said Karey Goebel, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Transzap. "We take pride in delivering software solutions that enable oil and natural gas companies to be more efficient and improve the way they access, analyze, and share critical information needed to run their business. Being named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is a testimony to our success and the hard work and dedication of our team."
"Transzap, like all 2011 Technology Fast 500 companies, has excelled in fostering innovation and channeling it into spectacular growth – against the backdrop of one of the most challenging economies in history," said Eric Openshaw, Vice Chairman and U.S. Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Leader, Deloitte LLP.
"We are pleased to honor Transzap as a 2011 Technology Fast 500 company," added Mark Jensen, Managing Partner, Technology, and Venture Capital Services, Deloitte & Touche LLP. "As one of the fastest growing tech companies in North America, Transzap has demonstrated excellence in technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and rapid growth."
