Recent government reforms are now allowing individuals within Cuba, the opportunity to form and openly operate new business ventures for the first time since 1959.  Participants on this special travel adventure will be among the first to experience Cuba as it balances between the old era of restricting business and the new era of supporting business creation.

• Visiting the International School of Film and TV and a recording studio to speak with Cuban students, instructors and musicians, to experience their creative energy and to examine the opportunities for these artists to export their art.
• Dining at several privately owned paladars, independently operated restaurants, to meet with owners and staff to discuss both the opportunities and challenges of operating a restaurant in Cuba.
• Traveling to the new deep water container port in Mariel to meet the architectural and construction team, to learn about the project and to examine the impact of a deep water port for Cuba, and the countries that trade with Cuba.
• Visiting Habanos, the leader of Cuba's cigar industry to meet with cigar experts for a discussion on the business of marketing Cuban cigars internationally and how this will change if and when the U.S. embargo ends.
• Exploring a sugar refinery to meet with the managers and staff of the sugar mill to learn about the history of sugar production, and to discuss present-day operations and how they might evolve.
