Tree Line Capital Partners, Led by Founding Partners Tom Quimby and Jon Schroeder, Announces Launch of Lower Middle-Market Lending Platform

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tree Line Capital Partners has partnered with Enhanced Capital to launch a lower middle-market direct lending platform for businesses with EBITDA of $2 million to $20 million. Led by Founding Partners Tom Quimby and Jon Schroeder, Tree Line will be part of the Enhanced Capital family of funds.  

Over the past 20 years, commercial bank consolidation has resulted in reduced participation in the business loan markets, and this has hit the lower middle market especially hard. Billions of dollars of lending capacity has exited this sector, despite a large supply of borrowers in need of private capital to finance growth. Tree Line Capital Partners offers term loans to qualified businesses that would otherwise lack committed financing partners.
