(NYSE: THS) announced today that it has filed an automatic universal shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which became effective upon filing. "Our growth strategy depends, in part, on having a capital structure that provides flexibility and the opportunity to execute our business plans in a swift and efficient manner. Filing the shelf registration achieves that goal while giving us the flexibility to decide the timing and type of transaction as market conditions change," said Dennis F. Riordan, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
This press release shall not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy, nor shall there be any sale of securities in any jurisdiction in which such offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful prior to any registration or qualification under the securities laws of such jurisdiction.
