PITTSBURGH, April 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Treehouse Software, Inc. is pleased to announce that as part of its go-to-market initiative for Treehouse Dataflow Toolkit Direct (TDT-DIRECT) and associated Cloud Engineering for Data Transfer Professional Services, these offerings are now available on the AWS Marketplace. TDT-DIRECT is a new Cloud-native, turn-key microservices-based offering that assures highly available, auto-scalable, and event-driven bulk and CDC data transfers from PostgreSQL to Snowflake. TDT-DIRECT automatically prepares landing tables, views, and additional proprietary staging infrastructure for Snowflake, and TDT-DIRECT adheres to the recommended best practices of AWS and Snowflake for massive data loading, thus assuring shortest and surest loads. Currently, TDT-DIRECT fully supports data transfer from PostgreSQL to Snowflake, with additional sources and targets being added to meet customer requests.

Treehouse Dataflow Toolkit Direct automatically creates all target resources required for bulk and CDC data transfer from RDBMSs to Snowflake on AWS.

TDT-DIRECT is much more than a mere "connector", providing an innovative and robust Lambda-based microservices methodology that automatically generates all target resources required for data transfer. Without TDT-DIRECT's automated approach, a customer can spend months architecting a data transfer infrastructure and creating the target resources, such as delta tables, views, schemas, etc.

For ease of implementation, TDT-DIRECT is delivered via CloudFormation templates, allowing customer sites to be up and running with a fully preconfigured implementation of a new data transfer pipeline in minutes.
