Triad Advisors Kicks Off National Conference For Independent Hybrid Advisors With More Than 400 Attendees

(NYSE MKT: LTS), today announced that its annual National Conference opened on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, AZ.

The 2014 National Conference brings together over 250 Triad advisors, along with industry experts and leading product partners. It provides Triad advisors a forum to hear from Triad senior management and high-profile keynote speakers, receive technology updates, participate in business development sessions and interact with other top advisors.

The conference opened on Sunday afternoon, September 14, with a general session industry update and a discussion on "The Future of Advice," featuring three of the industry's leading innovators, Mark Mettelman, President & CEO, Triad Advisors, Inc., Dick Lampen, President & CEO, Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc., and Sanjiv Mirchandani, President, National Financial Services, Fidelity Investments. 

For today, Triad Advisors reported that the conference's headline keynote address will be delivered by veteran journalist and political commentator Tucker Carlson, co-host of the TV news show Fox and Friends Weekend and editor-in-chief of TheDailyCaller.com, one of the country's fastest-growing news sites. Carlson will present "A Look at the Obama Administration, Congress and the Future of the Republican Party."

Additional keynote speakers will include Dr. Gerald Buetow, Chief Investment Officer, Innealta Capital, who will speak on Tuesday, September 16^th on "The Consequence of Current Economic Policy on Risk Management," and Dr. Kevin Elko, noted sports psychologist, performance consultant, motivational speaker, and author, who will discuss "How to Achieve Greatness at Work and in Life" on Wednesday, September 17.

Other general sessions range from a panel discussion on FINRA and SEC compliance to training on Triad's latest technology offerings. A wide variety of break-out sessions focus on topics from portfolio construction to exploring opportunities in specific market sectors and investment vehicles. 

In addition to these learning opportunities, the National Conference hosts a charitable event to raise funds for Soldier's Best Friend, a Phoenix-based organization that provides US military veterans living with combat-related PTSD or TBI (traumatic brain injury) with service or therapeutic companion dogs, most of which are rescued from local shelters. Through this program, veterans and dogs train together to build a lasting relationship.
