TriCipher Strengthens myOneLogin Enterprise Connectivity

LOS GATOS, Calif., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- TriCipher, a leading provider of cloud identity services, today announced extended and enhanced integration between its myOneLogin cloud identity services platform and enterprise identity infrastructure.  The newest release of myOneLogin Enterprise Connector extends directory integration to enable roles-based access control, simplifies integration with enterprise portals, and supports essentially all SSL VPNs. It also offers OEM options for SaaS vendors integrating with enterprise credentials.

Part of myOneLogin Enterprise Edition, myOneLogin Enterprise Connector is a lightweight software component installed within a corporate network to integrate the myOneLogin cloud identity services platform with existing directories, desktop authentication and SSL VPNs.  The latest version of the Enterprise Connector offers the following enhancements:

Enterprise portal integration: Enterprise Connector now simplifies integration of myOneLogin with enterprise portals, including Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle WebLogic Portal and IBM WebSphere Portal. This makes it easy for businesses to integrate web single sign-on with existing employee and/or partner portals, creating a single place to access business applications.

Roles-based access control: myOneLogin Enterprise Connector can extract attributes and groups from internal directories and include that information in federation assertions for application provisioning or authorization.

Broader network integration: myOneLogin Enterprise Connector now supports RADIUS, a widely-deployed network protocol supporting centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting management.  This means that companies can use myOneLogin to provide strong authentication to SSL VPNs for secure remote access.

Two deployment options: Enterprise Connector is delivered either as a lightweight virtual appliance, independent of platform/operating system, or as an application module for Microsoft IIS server.

Robust management: Installation and configuration wizards, backup/recovery and monitoring, and patch update support bring enterprise-class manageability to the Enterprise Connector.

OEM support: Service providers and SaaS can brand and customize the Enterprise Connector to leverage enterprise credentials in their offerings.
