HIGHLAND, Md., Aug. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Trinity Education Group, Inc. (TEG), a technology firm focused on helping companies and organizations develop their human capital, today announced Aurora Martinez has joined their executive team as Senior Vice President of Product and Business Development.
Martinez, an accomplished educational product development executive with nearly two decades in the field, expands and deepens Trinity Education Group's team of experts in the K-12 and higher education markets. Her past experience includes executive leadership roles in product strategy, marketing, acquisitions, and editing for leading educational publishing and technology firms.
"TEG's unique approach in educational technology is to bring the authentic educator 'voice' to its tech solutions, removing barriers to educational access and attainment," said Martinez. "I am excited to join TEG in developing new products aimed at improving equity, student gains, and teacher effectiveness in K-12."
"As Trinity Education Group continues to grow and evolve, experienced leaders like Aurora will enhance the quality of service and support TEG provides its K-12 and higher education clients, especially in the areas of dual language competency, teacher microcredentialing and certification, and AI models for human capital development," said Hugh Norwood, CEO and founder of TEG.
Norwood added, "I've known Aurora for nearly a decade, and while I have always admired her expertise and business acumen, it's her genuine passion for helping teachers and students learn and grow that stands out. We're delighted to have her on the team, and know she will make a huge contribution not only to TEG, but to school districts and state education systems across the nation."
As SVP of Product & Business Development, Martinez's first project will be to deepen and strengthen TEG's current efforts to support a Dual Language Teacher Competency Framework and extend that framework to become an open-source reference nationally. Martinez will also advise TEG on its new white-label assessment solutions for state education agencies.
"Because of TEG's unique bespoke technology approach which requires us to work hand-in-hand with our education clients, Aurora will bring a depth of experience to these efforts that will have an immediate impact on schools and education systems nationally," says Lauren Little, Chief Learning Officer for TEG.
