Triunfo Announces its Operational Data
SAO PAULO, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3, ADR: TPIUY, Bloomberg: TPIS3 BZ), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data in seven months of 2014 (7M14).
HIGHLIGHTS – 7M14
- Regarding traffic, in seven months of 2014, our highway concessions registered a 4.1% increase in traffic volume in relation to 2013, reaching 51.1 million equivalent vehicles. Individually, our concessionaires Concer, Concepa and Econorte, recorded year-on-year growth of 3.1%, 6.8% and -0.2%, respectively, in the volume of equivalent vehicles.
- Total container handled volume in 2014 was 396,114 TEUs, a decrease of 1.5% over 2013.
- The physical guarantee sold by Rio Verde to Votener totaled 345,034 MWh accumulated in 2014 and 50,443 MWh in July. The Physical guarantee sold by Rio Canoas totaled 275,219 MWh accumulated in 2014 and 26,988 MWh in July.
- As for the Viracopos Airport, 75,570 aircraft, carrying 5.6 million passengers and 128,358 tons of cargo, passed through the airport in 2014.
