SAO PAULO, Jan. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3, ADR: TPIUY, Bloomberg: TPIS3 BZ), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data in 2014.

HIGHLIGHTS – 2014

  • In 2014, our highway concessions registered traffic of 87.1 million vehicle-equivalents, which represents an increase of 1.2% from the same period of 2013. The individual performance in the same period of our concessionaries Concer, Concepa and Econorte was traffic growth of -3.2%, 6.1% and -1.4%, respectively.
  • In 2014, container handling at Portonave decreased 0.8% from the same period in 2013 to reach 699,824 TEUs.
  • The physical guarantee sold by Rio Verde to Votener amounted to 593,927 MWh in 2014 and 50,443 MWh in December. At Rio Canoas, the physical guarantee sold amounted to 413,249 MWh in the year to date and 27,198 MWh in December.
  • This year, Viracopos Airport registered 131,531 aircraft carrying 9,847,000 passengers and 223,280 tons of cargo.
