SAO PAULO, May 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3; OTC: TPIUY.PK), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data for the first four months of 2012.
4M12 HIGHLIGHTS
- In the first four months of 2012, the traffic volume increased by 6.9% over the same period last year, reaching 27,632 thousand equivalent vehicles. Our individual concessions, Concer, Concepa and Econorte, registered year-on-year equivalent vehicle growth of 7.7%, 7.4% and 4.2%, respectively.
- In the same period, the total handled container volume increased by 11.8% year-on-year, totaling 184,196 TEUs.
- With regard to cabotage, Maestra handled 8,492 TEUs year-to-date.
- Assured energy sold totaled 196,959 MWh year-to-date.
