Truelogic Software helped to create the core of the operation's application for the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Television for Emmy Awards
Truelogic, a company specialized in web development and mobile applications, created the platform for the American TV Hall of Fame's operations and programs
MIAMI, Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Academy of Arts and Sciences of Television, Emmy Awards organizer, chose Truelogic Software, a company specialized in web development and mobile applications, to develop a platform which is the center of all their operations and programs.
The Emmy`s organization needed a private environment where all the members of the Academy could preview content and upload programs nominated for the awards so that they could be evaluated by all voters. This platform had to rely on multimedia, be accessible only to active voting members and also serve as a place to promote various contents.
With the aim of providing a cost-effective platform, Truelogic Software designed a site focused on the ability of response and media formats where users, employees and members of the Academy could upload videos, view programs that hadn't issued and vote in the Consideration Program yet.
With a team of 7 people the company built three web sub-sites using PHP, Drupal, HTML5, Javascript, MYSQL, Brightcove and the IMIS subscription system. With these components in place, the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Television has been able to expand the platform over the years and add other projects like the Emmy's mobile application and University Television Awards mobile application too.
"We won't doubt in recommending Truelogic Software for the development of online platforms," said Jennifer Connelly, Senior Digital Director of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Television. "Before them, we used to work with third-party providers, but we didn't get the needed support. With Truelogic, internal work has proven to be flexible and efficient, and their solutions are able to accommodate the future growth of our projects," she said.
For Truelogic, "this has been another successful experience in software development in which our team and the customers worked together to guarantee a good result," said Marcelo Tribuj, CEO of the company.
