RESX is a leading online booking tool allowing corporate travelers to create policy-compliant and on-budget travel reservations via a hosted web interface that integrates expense management services and delivers seamlessly through optional integration with a TRX Expense Partner Network provider.
RESX v9.12 provides improvements to the user interface, navigation, controls, enhanced messaging, and seamless integration with popular social networking sites.
Improved Interface and Navigation
The new and improved user interface design utilizes the most prominent real estate in the application to highlight four sections to the end-user: 'My Messages', 'My Trips', 'Bulletin Board' and 'My Dashboards'.
Improved access to the traveler profile allows users to better control and manage their travel preferences seamlessly throughout the shopping and booking process. Now travelers can instantly change profile elements to better align with current itineraries without having to restart the booking process.
Enhanced Messaging
New 'My Messages' addition prominently displays key actions and notifications to travelers at sign-in, including information on expiring credit cards, passports and system passwords is now displayed to users before starting a trip. In addition, the enhancement provides notification on expiring unused tickets as well as trips requiring approval.
Improved Reporting
For travel planners and administrators RESX now features a new 'My Dashboard' section providing a wide-variety of reporting capabilities designed to improve visibility and travel management insight. Reports include online versus offline booking adoption, online booking activity, daily traffic activity, shopping for air, direct connect air, web booking, car, hotel and rail bookings and profile synchronization activities. Combined, these reports provide travel planners and administrators with great clarity into program performance and cost savings opportunities.
Embracing Social Networking
Travelers can now instantly share their travel experiences with their social networks on Facebook and TripIt with other social networking sites to follow soon via a seamless interface in the new 'My Trip' itinerary action box.
