TSEA's Red Diamond Congress 2011 a "B-School for Exhibit Marketers"
ORLANDO, Fla., March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Calling the three-day conference "B-school for exhibit marketers," Margit Weisgal, president/CEO of the Chicago, IL-based Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), today announced that the association's Red Diamond Congress 2011 (RDC 2011) will take place July 31-August 3 at The Peabody Orlando in Orlando, FL.
TSEA's RDC 2011 will feature 45 seminars and general sessions devoted to the urgent issues that drive exhibit marketing today: exhibitors' need to increase the value they receive from trade shows; their need to align corporate objectives with strategies and tactics and integrate trade shows with other marketing efforts; and their need to define meaningful trade show metrics and communicate value-based outcomes to senior management.
TSEA's RDC 2011's faculty will include many of the nation's leading exhibit marketing experts and practitioners, as well as university professors from several prominent business schools.
"TSEA's RDC 2011 will combine advocacy and advanced education," Weisgal said. "The breadth and depth of programming signals that the association is taking progressive steps to close two critical gaps -- one between exhibit managers and trade show organizers; and the other between exhibit managers and the executives they report to. Attendees can expect to receive a grad school-level education in marketing strategy and tactics, plus play a role as drivers of change in the trade show industry."
To guide attendees in their choice of seminars, TSEA's RDC 2011's content will be organized in three tracks: "Advocacy," "Strategy" and "Implementation."
To guarantee attendees can "connect the dots" between the seminars' content and their immediate needs, every seminar at TSEA's RDC 2011 will be supplemented by a dedicated "learning center." In them, faculty members will join subject matter experts from the leading suppliers to the exhibit marketing industry to amplify the seminars through small-group and one-to-one discussions.
The keynote session at TSEA's RDC 2011 will feature Charles Yuska, president and CEO of the Arlington, VA-based Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute, which produces PACK EXPO, the nation's second largest trade show. Yuska is well known throughout the trade show industry for having assumed the role of general contractor for his own event, in order to reduce exhibitors' costs.
Early-bird discounts on registration for TSEA's RDC 2011 are available through June 30. Advance registration for the event closes on July 22.
