Tucows Inc. Adds Comodo and Trustwave to its OpenSRS Trust Service, Cuts Prices on GeoTrust and thawte SSL Certificates

TORONTO, March 16 /PRNewswire/ - Tucows Inc. (NYSEAMEX: TCX) (TSX: TC), a global provider of domain names, email and other Internet services, announced today that its wholesale Internet services division, OpenSRS, has added Comodo® and Trustwave® Internet security products to the OpenSRS Trust Service. The addition of these two brands further extends and enhances the choice in trust and security products available to OpenSRS' over 11,000 resellers worldwide.

Along with adding new providers, OpenSRS also announced lower wholesale pricing on a number of GeoTrust® and thawte® brand SSL digital certificates.

OpenSRS has enjoyed a long-standing and successful partnership with GeoTrust, dating back to 2002 when it first introduced GeoTrust SSL certificates. That partnership, and that history of bringing competitive SSL pricing to the OpenSRS channel, continues with this price decrease.

OpenSRS expects that the new partnerships with Comodo and Trustwave, along with the pricing decrease on GeoTrust and thawte, will position OpenSRS resellers to better compete in an evolving market for online security and trust.
