Türk Telekom Selects P.I. Works for uSON-powered Managed Services

Turk Telekom, the largest integrated telecommunications company in Turkey, selected P.I. Works as its provider for Network optimization and planning as Managed services. As part of the agreement, P.I. Works will be using their own proprietary, centralized, Unified Self Organizing Networks solution (uSON™), that automates the network management and improvement process 24/7 to solve capacity and coverage issues in mobile networks.

P.I. Works uSON™ -powered Managed Services will help Turk Telekom to improve subscriber experience of Turk Telekom's network services.
Turk Telekom has performed an extensive evaluation of P.I. Works SON solutions in the field. Results have shown that P.I. Works solutions have improved the radio access network quality, while decreasing the network overload. This has allowed more Turk Telekom subscribers to access the network, and also it has reduced the number of overloaded sites. As a results of this, the need for base station upgrades has been reduced.

SON also provides operational efficiency, decreases manual configuration and human error.
