TVI Pacific Inc. Issues Correction for Agata North Resource Estimate
CALGARY, April 12, 2013 /CNW/ - TVI Pacific Inc. (TSX:TVI) (OTCQX:TVIPF) ("TVI" or the "Company") is issuing a correction with respect to the Company's April 10, 2013 news release (disseminated at 7:30 a.m. eastern time), which was entitled "TVI Pacific Inc. Reports New Resource Estimate for Agata North".
The news release incorrectly stated (in the third bullet point appearing under the second paragraph) that estimated contained nickel is 39.1 million tonnes; the correct figure is 391 thousand tonnes.
The resource estimate referred to in the preceding paragraph is derived from an independent technical report, entitled "Independent Report on the Nickel Laterite Resource - Agata North, Philippines", prepared for TVI Resource Development Phils. Inc (TVIRD), TVI's Philippine affiliate, by Mark G. Gifford, MSc (Hons), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, of Margaret River, Western Australia.
