AIX-EN-PROVENCE, France, February 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TWINLINX, the inventor of the NFC sticker, announced today that it has been granted the Frost & Sullivan European 2011 award for Customer Value Enhancement which is presented to companies having demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers.
The Frost & Sullivan team of analysts recognised Twinlinx's MyMax NFC sticker product's ability to penetrate all the markets that expect an easy deployment and standardized solution for NFC applications as the unique selling points directly increasing Twinlinx's customer's value proposition.
MyMax(R) is a thin electronic sticker designed to upgrade existing and future Bluetooth phones with full NFC functionality, thereby opening up the way for rapid market development and mass deployment of NFC applications
"We are extremely honoured to have received this award from Frost & Sullivan," said Jacek Kowalski Twinlinx founder and CEO, "it's an important recognition of the vision and technology we have been developing over the last 3 years. We faced many challenges to make the sticker work with over 80% of current phones, to make it user friendly and to achieve a price compatible with market expectations. We believe MyMax will speed up by many years the NFC market take-off as it allows to reach rapidly a critical mass of users at low deployment cost. We predict that no more than 50% of phones will have integrated NFC in the future and this is still many years away, whilst our sticker solution is designed for everybody now and for deployment on a global mass market basis. We have invested already $5 million in developing MyMax and are actively looking for new strategic partners and investors to take the company to the next stage of development and growth in 2011"
MyMax will be demonstrated at the Mobile World congress show in Barcelona 14-17th February in hall 2 Booth 2F 49
