Ubersmith Expands Management Team with Appointment of Dominique Archambault as Chief Technology Officer
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ubersmith, a global leader in billing, infrastructure and help desk software, today announced that Dominique Archambault has been named the company's Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he will guide the product vision, strategy and development for Ubersmith's business and infrastructure automation platform, which serves cloud, hosting and colocation providers, as well as managed service providers. Archambault's position follows Ubersmith's appointment of General Manager Kurt Daniel in 2014, as the company expands its executive team to meet growing customer demand.
Over the last decade, Archambault has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to lead agile engineering teams in fast-paced environments. Most recently, he served on the engineering management team at cloud and hosting provider iWeb, an Internap company. There, he was instrumental in leading iWeb's implementation of the Ubersmith platform, along with development of the company's OpenStack public cloud service, customer portal and Smart Layer, a virtualized, dedicated server hosting solution. Prior to iWeb, he held a range of Web development and system administration roles at companies including E-MedHosting.com (now MultiWebcast) and CompuSmart.
