UBM's Resource Event to Continue Under New Leadership
LONDON, July 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
UBM EMEA announces that Stephen Gee will be stepping down as Event Director of the Resource Event at the end of June 2015 to pursue a new opportunity. The existing team including Edward Lawson and David Bradbury will continue to run the event and its new launch products Circulareconomynews.com and The Resource Summit moving forward.
Alison Jackson Director of Sustainability and Built Environment said:
"Stephen's commitment to launching Resource Event has been significant; in Resource we have an exciting event at the cutting edge of sustainability. The recent research conducted after the 2015 event, indicates that this is topic of huge interest to UBM's customer base. I thank him warmly for his contribution and wish him every success in his new endeavours. "
Stephen Gee commented:
"The decision to leave Resource Event and UBM was far from easy as I feel very passionately about an event we have created and developed into a market leading brand. However after launching successfully, I feel now is a good time for a new challenge for me. I will look forward to watching as Resource Event continues to develop, grow and realises its full potential in leading businesses towards a Circular Economy."
