CYPRESS, Calif., July 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyo Tires® recently challenged Team Toyo® athletes/UFC® fighters, Chad "Money" Mendes and Paige "12 Gauge" VanZant to a little untraditional training, and they crushed it. Now, see the two of them tackle Tough Mudder Tahoe in this video posted on the Toyo Tires YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3apS4lxuVzo
The two worked as a team and with other Mudders to complete the 10.3 mile obstacle course at Northstar Resort in the Tahoe area of California on June 13. A longtime Team Toyo member, Mendes will fight Conor McGregor this Saturday for the UFC Interim Featherweight title. VanZant is the newest member of Team Toyo and a strong contender in the UFC® Women's Strawweight division.
Toyo Tires is the Official Tire of Tough Mudder. Held around the world, these team-oriented events consist of 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Like Mendes and VanZant, Tough Mudder participants face every obstacle with an "All or Nothing" attitude. Every course in the U.S. also features a menacing 10-foot wall called Skidmarked presented by Toyo Tires®, and the village area includes a Toyo Tires challenge.
