UK-Based Sports Agency CSS Stellar Sued in US Courts, Julian Jakobi & John Webber Named in Suit by SKI & Company's Largest Individual Shareholder
New suit is the latest in a string of legal actions involving John Webber and Julian Jakobi on same subject matter
NEW YORK, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- A lawsuit has been filed in The Supreme Court Of The State Of New York against UK-based and AIM listed CSS Stellar (ticker symbol CSS) by the largest individual shareholder in USA based SKI & Company, LLC, Mr. Chris Lencheski. Mr. Lencheski is the founder and former CEO of SKI & Company, a US-based award winning sports and entertainment marketing and sales company with offices in New York, London, Dubai and Pennsylvania.
This new suit is in addition to a previous one originally filed in Lehigh County (Pa.) Court, and subsequently moved to Federal Court, against John Webber, his son Daniel Webber and Julian Jakobi. The new suit alleges that after CSS Stellar was unsuccessful in buying out SKI as a competitor, John Webber and Julian Jakobi arranged to have a holding company purchase the majority ownership in SKI. The suit further says the two men, along with Daniel Webber, managed SKI into financial disarray by failing to pay salaries and refusing to fund the company, while at the same time diverting corporate opportunities and funds away from SKI in support of the development of Powerhouse Sport and Media and Gem Group. Daniel Webber was separately involved with Powerhouse, and GEM was owned by CSS Stellar, where Julian Jakobi and John Webber were executives.
Furthermore, the suit also alleges that Julian Jakobi and John Webber breached their contracts and fiduciary duties to Lencheski.
