UK's Only Gay Theatre to Release Christmas Single in Aid of Stonewall
LONDON, November 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Award-winning fringe theatre Above The Stag is to release a Christmas single with all profits to be donated to Stonewall, the LGBT charity.
Lonely Love Song, from the hit musical Bathhouse: The Musical will be released worldwide via iTunes on 25 November. CDs featuring two extra bonus demo tracks will be available to purchase at the theatre.
Lonely Love Song and the songs from Bathhouse: The Musical written by Esther Daack and Tim Evanicki were praised as 'extremely well-crafted tunes' by The Stage. Playing to packed houses earlier this year, the show was narrated by former MP Gyles Brandreth and is set to return to Above The Stag in February 2015 due to unprecedented demand.
About Bathhouse: The Musical
Described as 'hilariously relevant' by LGBT magazine So So Gay, Bathhouse: The Musical follows Billy as he visits the sauna for the first time. He's looking for love, but soon realises that the other patrons are looking for something a little more temporary.
Bathhouse: The Musical originally premiered in 2006 at the Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival in Orlando, Florida.
