Ultrapar Announces its 3Q10 Results

SAO PAULO, Nov. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ultrapar Participacoes S.A. (NYSE: UGP / BM&FBOVESPA: UGPA4), a company engaged in fuel distribution (Ultragaz/Ipiranga), chemicals (Oxiteno) and storage for liquid bulk (Ultracargo), hereby reports its results for the third quarter of 2010.

We report one more quarter of strong growth in our results, achieving record levels of EBITDA and net earnings. In October, we acquired the fuel distributor DNP, advancing in Ipiranga's expansion plan, started with the acquisition of Texaco.
