Uncommon Consulting Is First Company in U.S. to Offer Motivation Factor® Certification to Drive Business Change
WEST BOYLSTON, Mass., May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Uncommon Consulting, a West Boylston, Mass.-based training and consulting firm, announced today that it is the first company in the U.S. to offer a program to help struggling companies engage and motivate people to drive business change.
Uncommon in June will begin offering certification in the Motivation Factor® methodology, which marries the latest brain and psychology research with new findings in emotional intelligence and strength-based leadership to foster the lasting motivation companies need to meet organizational goals.
This approach is aimed at the scores of companies struggling with unmotivated employees, fierce competition and declining revenue. Uncommon will begin offering certification in the program June 6-8 in Waltham, Mass. Motivation Factor® Certification was, until recently, only available in Denmark.
"Unlike other programs available, this method is the first I've seen to address individual motivation and business goals in tandem," noted Julie Lynch, principal of Uncommon Consulting. "Even the best managers can have trouble striking the right chord with their staff to boost employee engagement."
Because motivation is largely intrinsic and must be cultivated from within, many companies can mistakenly believe that Human Resources professionals alone can substantially influence employee engagement levels. But HR managers can only go so far in motivating employees, Lynch added.
"This program is a very practical approach that gives individuals themselves the resources they need to become motivated and engaged toward specific goals," she said. "This makes a huge difference in people's ability to drive change, boost productivity and engage employees."
The Motivation Factor® program focuses on:
- Identifying and eliminating obstacles to success
- Understanding and managing emotional triggers
- Uncovering and leveraging natural talents
- Committing and contributing to organizational goals
Motivation Factor® is a customizable framework effective in any situation where the goal is to engage and motivate people toward a common purpose.
Participants can:
- Bring it in house for their department or business
- Certify their Human Resources or Organizational Development departments for internal delivery
- Become a Motivation Factor® Partner to bring their own practice to the next level
Lynch is a management practice expert with more than 20 years of experience in executive and management development, employee performance and organizational effectiveness. Uncommon Consulting specializes in facilitating the development of outstanding individuals and teams and now has the unique distinction of serving as Master Trainer for Motivation Factor®. In addition to this program, the firm offers programs to boost employee performance and improve the work of company teams.
