UNICEF Partners With Softway Solutions to Launch Social Media Campaign #BringBackOurChildhood
HOUSTON, April 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A recent report by UNICEF shows 800,000 children have been forced to flee their Nigerian homes due to Boko Haram violence over the last year. Bringing awareness and support to aid the displaced children, UNICEF and Softway Solutions are running a Snapchat campaign during the week of April 13, 2015.
Following UNICEF on Snapchat will introduce you to a wide variety of Snapchat talent inspiring users to recreate a drawing made by a victim of the violence. The campaign is live on all social media channels and many influential social media personalities are onboard supporting the cause #BringBackOurChildhood.
Softway Solutions and Shaun McBride (Shonduras) are the acting force behind the campaign with the ultimate goal of propelling relief aid for the Boko Haram victims.
Softway Solutions introduced UNICEF to the Vine platform at the end of 2014 by taking New Years wishes from children in need and transforming them into powerful stop-motion animations.
