United Business Technologies Announces $150,000 Sponsorship Commitment

MCLEAN, Va., March 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- United Business Technologies is proud to announce it is making a $61,000 contribution to Children's National Medical Center. UBT has also pledged to contribute $150,000 to the facility over the next two years.

In 2012, UBT partnered with Children's National to contribute $50 for each Canon office product sold between April and December. All funds raised support advancements in medical technology, including the Mind Brain Institute, Anticipatory Medicine, Mobile Units, and Emergency Preparedness programs. Children's National is among the top pediatric hospitals in America and the leader in development of innovative treatments for childhood illness and injury. The hospital has served the nation's children since 1870 and UBT is dedicated to helping them and the community.

Over the next two years, UBT plans to contribute $150,000 to Children's National Medical Center, by continuing its current program of $50 for each Canon product sold. United Business Technologies also sponsors the annual Children's Ball and signature 5K Run/Walk Race for Every Child.
