United Media Capital Announces $400 Million Media Financing Joint Venture

LOS ANGELES, May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- United Media Capital, LLC ("United Media") announced it has launched a $400 million film and television financing joint venture bringing the funding efforts and capabilities of Beartas Capital Partners ("Beartas Capital"), American United Entertainment ("American United") and Struans Media, Inc. ("Struans Media") together under one banner.  United Media will manage, produce, develop and distribute feature film and television properties with budgets reaching $100 million USD.

United Media's JV member, American United and its founder Robert Rodriguez, most recently announced a $200 Million capital commitment from HAN Pictures & Media Corp. and is making that capital available to be managed and co-administered by United Media. HAN Pictures & Media Corp. is the US entity and its sister entertainment production unit of the global financial conglomerate HAN Group and HAN Capital Management founded by Dr. John Liu, PhD, a former Citigroup senior executive and SAC Capital Management trader and Senior Managing Director.

The purpose of the United Media joint venture is to bring additional management, production and funding capabilities to compete globally and deliver truly compelling projects for global film and television audiences. United Media has created its initial slate of projects for this year and plans on announcing the first film project shortly.
