United Offers Rebooking Options To Customers Affected By East Coast Weather

CHICAGO, June 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines today announced travel options for United customers whose flight plans may be disrupted by severe weather and air traffic control delays impacting the East Coast. A fire Friday at an FAA facility in New Jersey affected FAA's ability to provide normal services, leading to flight delays and cancellations through Saturday.
Affected flights include those to and from:
- Newark Liberty International Airport
- LaGuardia Airport
- John F. Kennedy International Airport
- Westchester County Airport
- Philadelphia International Airport
- Washington Dulles International Airport
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
- Baltimore Washington International Airport
Checking Flight Status and Changing Travel Plans
Customers on flights to, from or through the impacted cities on June 22 and June 23 may reschedule their itineraries for travel no later than one year from date of issue with a one-time date or time change, and the airline will waive the change fees.
Customers may request refunds in the original form of payment for canceled flights.
Customers may change travel plans quickly and conveniently, and find complete details and eligible travel dates, at united.com. Customers may also book a new reservation, change an existing reservation or check flight status by calling United Reservations at 800-UNITED-1.
