
United States Aircraft Insurance Group (USAIG) Expands Claims Staff
NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- USAIG today announced the expansion of its claims staff with the addition of two attorneys in their New York home office and Atlanta locations.
In New York, Sherry Ortiz has been appointed claims attorney in the airlines/central claims office. USAIG also announced the addition of David A. Seiler as vice president, claims attorney to its Atlanta branch. Ms. Ortiz will report to Cristina M. Schoen, senior vice president of the USAIG airline claims department while Mr. Seiler will report to William F. Ranieri, senior vice president-deputy director of claims.

Ms. Ortiz holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School. Prior to joining USAIG, she was a law clerk at Trope & DeCarolis and worked at the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of the Regional Counsel.
Mr. Seiler has 13 years of aviation insurance litigation experience and joins USAIG from Delta Air Lines where he worked as in house counsel. Previously, he was a senior associate at Shook, Hardy & Bacon and an associate at Burd, Downs & Magathan. Mr. Seiler earned a Bachelor Degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Purdue University. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.
