Univar Announces Joint Venture with E.A. Juffali & Brothers

REDMOND, Wash., June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Univar Inc., a world leader in the distribution of chemistry and related products and services, announced today a joint venture with E.A. Juffali & Brothers, a major player in chemicals and other industries based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The joint venture will be a full distribution business headquartered in the country's Eastern Province.

The joint venture between Univar and E.A. Juffali & Brothers helps both companies grow their presence around the world, giving Univar critical access to markets across the Middle East to better serve their customers in the region. The unique partnership combines Juffali's infrastructure and knowledge of the local business and government environment along with Univar's strong supplier relationships and logistics expertise. The joint venture will distribute chemicals across industries, including personal care, oil and gas, food, coatings, and household, institutional and industrial cleaners.
