Next-Generation Learning Environment Will Support Over 40,000 Students
WASHINGTON, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has reaffirmed their partnership with Blackboard to power the university's primary centrally-supported learning management platform, Illinois Compass, the company announced today. Blackboard's comprehensive learning environment will support over 2,000 courses for over 40,000 students.
Blackboard has worked with the University since 2006 to deliver a blended online learning program that supplements traditional face-to-face courses and provides students and faculty with mobile access to all course materials.
