Unused Airline Miles Go To Help Children's Wishes Come True
Midco Connections helps support Make-A-Wish South Dakota campaign
SIOUX FALLS, S.D., March 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Midco Connections will help Make-A-Wish South Dakota in its statewide campaign to collect unused airline miles. These miles will help make wishes come true for South Dakota children with life-threatening medical conditions. The campaign culminates with a statewide broadcast on KSFY TV and NewsCenter1 on March 10.

Midco Connections will host the event from its Sioux Falls facility and also provide associates to take calls for donations of unused airline miles. Miles will be accepted that day by calling 1.800.640.9198. To help associates process the donations, callers will need to have their frequent flyer account numbers and predetermine how many miles they wish to donate. The minimum Delta miles are 1,000. United requires donations of at least 500 miles.
The miles will benefit Make-A-Wish® South Dakota and allow the chapter to grant more travel wishes to kids. More than 65 percent of the wishes granted by Make-A-Wish require air travel, the largest expense of the chapter's annual wish budget. After miles are donated, they never expire, and 100 percent of the donated miles stay in South Dakota.

Midco Connections has been involved in the campaign the last four years. During that time, more than eight million miles have been donated, saving Make-A-Wish South Dakota thousands of dollars in airfare.
