FURSAN, based in Qatar, is the brainchild of Ibrahim Al-Haidos, Founder & Creative Director of the brand and the FURSAN Collection of unrivalled luxury handbags, designed in celebration of the tradition of Dazzah.
Asked what motivated him to design such exquisite, sumptuous handbags, Ibrahim Al-Haidos replied, "I have always had a romantic relationship with commerce and entrepreneurship. Combining my interest in leather goods and fashion, I seek to put Qatar on the luxury fashion map and make it a major destination for luxury brands. I want to give customers the true experience of extravagance by treating them as honored guests when they enter our glorious boutique."
No expense was spared in the opulent Grand Opening celebration, the theme being, "The Gold Swarm," referencing the ultimate in luxury, organised by (974Company). Beginning with the amazing LCD which contained the invitation for the event along with two short movies, the lucky guests were treated to delicious customized hors d'oeuvres prepared by Chef Kempenski, (Marsa Malaz) of the luxury five star hotel, portrait sketches by Los Angeles artist Jeanette Getrost and decadent art chocolate specially crafted for FURSAN by Alice Bentely the Artisian Chocolatier. Guests enjoyed a mix of Arabic and Western music.
Well known VVIP, luminaries and public figures attended the event; many honored us by their presence, but modesty forbids our mentioning their names. Others, such as many famous celebrities, TV presenters, actresses, editors of newspapers, fashion and web bloggers, movie stars, entertainers, singers and numerous prominent individuals celebrated the Grand Opening of the FURSAN boutique.
