For 2013, filers are required to send 1099 statements to recipients by Friday January 31, 2014 (some exceptions apply). 1096 and 1099 reporting with the IRS is due on or before Friday Feb 28, 2014 for filers using paper forms and Monday March 31, 2014 for filers using electronic 1099 processing.
