SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Warp 9, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WNYN), the premier provider of robust e-commerce platforms and services, announces that The Upper Deck Company - world famous for its sports trading cards and collector memorabilia - has signed a three year agreement with Warp 9 for the fully hosted and managed Warp 9 Internet Commerce System ("ICS") Enterprise E-Commerce Platform.

Upper Deck approached Warp 9 with a complicated fully customized integration request including: CyberSource Tax Integration, JD Edwards Supply Chain Management integration and a request to design a custom single-sign-on system for membership integrated to Upper Deck's other web properties. In addition to the integrations, Warp 9 was asked to re-work the design and help reorganize the categorization structure.

Warp 9 tackled the accelerated launch timeline and additional integration tasks by utilizing their Best-of-Breed/Rapid Application Deployment (BOB/RAD) methodology.

Harinder Dhillon, Warp 9's CEO commented, "Using Warp 9's BOB/RAD deployment methodology ensures that we can create a very complex site that is extremely feature rich but also ensures that the best practices elements that lead to successful e-commerce sales are built-in from the very beginning. It also allowed us to spend extra time on the integration and customization features that mean more to the customer and had a bigger impact on streamlining their operations. To that end, we not only completed a full integration to their JDE order management system (inventory, credit card authorization, order information, shipment tracking, etc.), and a single-sign-on system for members, but also implemented a complete product image processing solution."

Warp 9's BOB/RAD implementation of the ICS e-commerce platform provides customers with the most competitive site possible in an extremely short development timeline and for less money than the competition - an all around win for retailers looking to replace their e-commerce solution with a better, more competitive and cost-effective platform.
