UPS Auctions Once-in-a-Lifetime Experiences in Support of Communities
Auction features items from London 2012 Olympics, NASCAR, hottest Live Nation concerts, top athletes Lee Westwood and Dale Jarrett, and much more
ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- UPS generously donated more than 35 items to United Way for an auction on eBay's MissionFish site. Proceeds from auction items—valued at over $40,000—will benefit United Way, including its work to meet bold national goals related to education, financial stability and health.

The auction will run from July 18 through September 9, and will include dozens of unique items and priceless experiences. New auction items will be added every two weeks, such as:
- Premium tickets to see top artists perform at select venues across the country, donated through the UPS partnership with Live Nation
- Sports collectibles autographed by champion athletes and stars such as Dale Jarrett
- Rare opportunities like a day with NASCAR Driver David Ragan, including a tour of the team's shop, go-kart racing and dinner with David; a behind the scenes tour of the London 2012 Olympic Park; or a chance to be an honorary NASCAR Pit Crew Member of the Roush Fenway #6 Team, including helping set up the pit box and a prime race-watching spot atop it
Over the past 29 years, UPS and its employees have donated more than $1 billion to improve lives and communities in partnership with United Way.

This is the third year UPS has partnered with United Way to host an auction on eBay's MissionFish.
