Urquhart Campaign Says John Carney is in the Pocket of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Special Interests

NEWARK, Del., Oct 27 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- It's been a rule in politics for a long time:  "Follow the money." In the Delaware Congressional race, followers of Speaker Pelosi and her radical liberal agenda have poured money -- nearly $600,000 -- into the campaign of liberal Democrat, John Carney, for a reason.

"It's all in the numbers. John Carney has been bought and paid for by Nancy Pelosi, DC Special Interests, and Union Leaders. Carney proved to be Minner's lapdog as Lieutenant Governor and he will be nothing more than that for Pelosi," stated Urquhart Political Director, Brad White. "It's truly laughable to think he will ever stand up to the establishment in Washington. Delaware deserves an independent voice in Congress. That is clearly not career politician John Carney."

Carney has received nearly $600,000 from Nancy Pelosi, her cronies, labor unions, and special interests out of Washington DC. This dubious concentration of campaign cash equates to nearly one-third of his total fundraising. Of note are the following amounts: $170,000 from Big Labor; over $75,000 from the campaign accounts, and "Leadership" PACs of Pelosi cronies; and more than $300,000 came from an array of other Special Interest denizens of Washington, DC. The remaining $20,000 from the Pelosi-controlled Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in coordinated funds.

John Carney is on record as supporting the failed, job-killing policies of the Pelosi, Obama, Reid regime such as government-run healthcare, Cap and Trade, the Dodd-Frank legislation, and taking away the Bush Tax Cuts.
