U.S. Department of the Treasury Seized & Forfeited General Property Program
MIAMI, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- VSE Corporation and Rick Levin & Associates, Inc. will conduct an auction of seized and forfeited property on behalf of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The auction will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at the VSE Warehouse located at 1173 NW 159th Drive, Miami, FL.
This auction will include a large collection of Latin American art consisting of 48 pieces.
The variety of media includes oil paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints, by artists including:
- Fernando Botero
- Dario Morales
- Luis Caballero
- David Manzur
- Pedro Nel Gomez
- Belarmino Miranda
- Salvadore Dali
Other highlighted property offered for auction:
- 1995 45' Bayliner Motor Yacht, a 2006 50' Nor-Tech Supercat, and over 15 other vessels

Proceeds from the auction are returned to the U.S. Treasury's Asset Forfeiture Fund for the continuation of law enforcement efforts by the participating agencies: U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Internal Revenue Service and Secret Service.
Previews of the art will take place at the Fortress Corporation located at 1629 NE First Ave, Miami, FL 33132 on Monday and Tuesday, February 1st and 2nd; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. day of sale at the VSE Warehouse, Miami, FL. There are no property previews on sale day.
